On the border between Tuscany and Umbria we created 3 spacious, very luxurious holiday houses, approximately 95 m2 / 950 ft2 each.
As we were never able to find any decent holiday houses ourselves we decided to do it better and create our dream holiday houses.
In our houses we provide every type of comfort you look for when you travel. Why accept something less then you have at home? We believe that on a holiday you should have more comfort and luxury than you have at home! Well we can provide that!
In our holiday houses you will find: (free of charge) wireless internet throughout the whole house, mosquito nets in every door and window, air-conditioning in the bedroom, a fireplace that also heats the radiators so that the whole house is warm even in winter, a kitchen where you will find all the equipment in use today: oven, microwave, dishwasher, 5 fire cooker and TVs in the bedroom and the living room. The houses are built according to the character of the village: simple stone houses as they were in the past but gems on the inside. Of course you have your privacy which includes your own entrance and terrace.

Summary: This apartment is a real gem!! It is the perfect mix of rustic Italian country yet with all the beautiful modern comforts. It felt fresh and new without losing it’s rustic charm, (yes, you will hear roosters crowing, which we loved). All the finishings are high quality and very well thought out. A big plus is that the bed is very comfortable!! Our hosts, Ilonka & Rob were so welcoming and helpful. They made us feel like we were staying with long time friends. You definitely need a car to get here, and we felt that using GPS was a great advantage. If we had relied on just paper maps, I think we would have gotten lost, and would have missed seeing the beautiful scenery. Even though our GPS was very very helpful, it did send us a ¼ mile past the driveway the first night, and took us to the right (instead of left) at that last “T”, the second night. So a “Tofanello” sign at the end of the driveway and at that last “T” (by metal bin) would be helpful. We loved the layout of this apartment, but it may be helpful to know that it is 3 levels. So if you are someone who has a hard time with stairs (due to knee or hip issues) this could be of concern. We absolutely loved our stay here and hope to come back soon. I can still smell the lovely fragrance of the fig tree next to our patio!! Fond memories of a beautiful place!!
