Named after the king of the wild - Max from Where the Wild Things Are. Max leads the wild things declaring “let the wild rumpus start”, but ultimately he learns balance - the comfort of loved ones & the call of the wild.
The Space:
Max sleeps three with a queen bed by the main window and a single bed in the loft. We provide bedding, linen and towels, USB charger, fridge, fresh water for drinking, hot shower, eco-friendly compost toilet, fan, stove, BBQ, fire pit, outdoor stove, cutlery and plates, outdoor seating, books, games and provisions (soap, shampoo, conditioner, salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, matches and oil). You only need to bring food and drinks. Our tiny houses are powered by the sun and gas bottles. Don't expect to charge your laptop or plug in any appliances, but there is a small USB charger.

Tiny house Max is just over 2 hours drive north east from Melbourne near the town of Merton. Set in a secluded location with views to Mount Buller and the Snowy Mountains, Max is the perfect getaway for when you just need space.

Nearby you’ll find the Strathbogie Ranges, Harrops Folly Sanctuary, Mount Paradox, Merton Creek and Kippings Bridge.
