Artisan-made tiny house nestled in cedar trees next to a dairy goat pasture on a small family permaculture farm. Walk to the beach and Kitsap Memorial State Park. Water view from edge of fenced yard, gardens, pond, farm animals in a peaceful farm & nature setting. This gorgeous tiny house was featured in a documentary. It has natural wood interior and cedar siding, and includes all the features and amenities one might need to cozy up under the cedar trees and enjoy a good book while the smell of cool salty air from the Salish Sea and sounds of farm animals tickle your senses. Kitchen has all the amenities to cook and prepare meals yourself (except a microwave), toilet is an eco-friendly compost toilet, and queen bed is located up a simple ladder in a loft. Bed in Loft: Before booking, be sure you and your guest are able to climb up and down a ladder with ease to reach the loft safely. Farm Animal Noise: There is a small goat pasture with a few La Mancha dairy goats directly outside the window. Milking is from 830-930am and 630-730pm daily, so you will hear some noise of the goats calling during that time, and occasionally throughout the day. There are chickens, ducks, turkeys and livestock guardian dogs at the back end of the lot approx 200+feet away near the forest and pond, so you will hear them too. At night, goats are in the stable, birds in the coop, and dogs nearby. The livestock guardian dogs will bark occasionally at noise, so if you are a sensitive sleeper we recommend earplugs or can provide you with them if you need them. The Tiny House is located under two cedar trees next to our goat pasture with a private entry. Parking for one vehicle directly in front of the tiny house, or on street. Guests are welcome to explore the vegetable garden and forest next to the garden. Access to farm area available by special arrangement only via one of our Farm Tours: ask us about our Poultry & Egg Gathering Experience, Goat Milking Demonstrations, and Wildcrafting Workshops.
