We invite you to stay at this spacious and contemporary apartment where your front door is just footsteps from the waters edge. "Hideaway", one of three units that make up The Getaway Apartments is located in a unique neighborhood nearby the famed St. Georges Cricket Club and a short distance from the town of St. Georges.
As this is a lower unit you ay hear the occasional footstep from guests renting upstairs. The industrial area also lends itself to potential noise but due to the positioning of the house this will be very rare.
This is one of Bermudas most unique neighborhoods. Located in a popular eastern location nearby the St. Georges Cricket Club where Bermuda's annual Cup Match cricket game is hosted every other year. Home to many multi-generational families this single road loops around the club leading to the main road where a small convenience store and take out restaurant can be found. uniquely situated in a marine industrial location you will be surprised how much this oceanside retreat will feel just like home.
A 20 minute walk will take you into a world UNESCO site - the historical town of St. George home to our first settlers. Now filled with a wealth of local shops, restaurants and attractions you will truly immerse yourself in the daily life of a Bermudian.
Explore the nearby beaches like Tobacco Bay, Clearwater Beach, Turtle Bay beach and the most beautiful Coopers island nature reserve - a true Gem of Bermuda.
Historical sites you must see would include The Bermuda perfumery, The Unfinished Church and Fort St. Catherine. Go on a walkimg/bike tour with the lovely host at Long Story Short a specialty bookstore located on the cobblestone road.

Take a step up into the bright and coastal ensuite bedroom. Featuring a king sized bed and ample drawer space for those longer stays. The bathroom features a walk-in shower. Just off the bedroom is a sliding door leading onto the grassy landing overlooking the harbor and waters edge.
Hideaway is located just a short walk to the main road if you wish to catch the bus. We also have charging stations for the electric cars. scooters and electric bicycles can also be rented while you are here.
