The Space:
Third Sandbar Port A Beach House is located in the heart of Port Aransas, TX, right off of Avenue G, which is a main access road to Port Aransas Beach. It's about a 7 min walk to the beach and is in the golf cart zone - super fun and easy to cart to the beach! It is also in walking distance.
The pool is seasonally heated, by guest request, with a fee of $75 per night, for the duration of your stay. Request must be made and payment must be paid at least 24 hours prior to arrival.
Complete remodel and make over in 2020 with a beach, farmhouse style, all brand new furnishings, and architectural design that will be almost as much fun to take in as the beach and all that Port A has to offer!
Bring your friends and family, accommodating 16 people. Pulling into the drive, there is room for 4 average sized vehicles and/or golf carts and a boat.
Underneath the deck at the covered patio, you'll find plenty of space to store your coolers, chairs and beach toys, and it's also a great place to hang out and enjoy the sea breeze.
You'll be tempted to not even enter this stunning house because the backyard and large pool will pull you right into this gorgeous, lush outdoor space with tall palm trees, and a sunset view that will hold your heart forever!
Into the main house, entry on main floor, a living space with sleeper sofa, flat screen TV, and 3 bedrooms - King Master with En Suite Bath, a Queen room, and a bunk room with 4 bunk beds (and a secret hideout/play space for the littles to enjoy and set up their little space just for them!) Other than the En suite bathroom in the downstairs king room, there is 1 other full bathroom that is for the queen room, sleeper sofa/living space and the bunk room. This main floor also has a full size, stackable washer and dryer for guest use.
As you ease upstairs, you'll take it slow because this architecture and stairwell bookcase grabs your attention and even the walk upstairs is an amazing experience! And it's not even the best part.
The final stair steps brings you to the 2nd floor, where again, you'll want to never leave because of the carefully thought out finishes, the complete pulled together décor and furnishings and a ceiling that will hold your attention for hours. Stunning, beautiful, interesting, amazing - and it still can't fully describe it.
This floor offers a large living space with 2 large sofas and 2 chairs, a flat screen TV and windows to pull in natural light from sunrise to sunset. It also has a chef's kitchen which offers every modern food prepping, cooking and serving convenience to you and your guests. There is also a coffee bar and the kitchen is well stocked for large meals. With a ton of foot traffic space, there's still a very large dining space, dining chairs and bar stools at a center island bar for EVERYONE to have a seat, visit, laugh, tell fishing stories and make unforgettable memories. And, it doesn't stop there.
Ease on out to the outdoor deck space on the 2nd floor for yet another large dining table and chairs for breakfasts, lunches, dinners and/or card games. The owners of Third Sandbar have thought of everything! Please make sure you catch at least 1 sunrise on this deck.
Back inside on the 2nd floor where the living/dining/kitchen area is located, you will also find a king master bedroom with en suite bathroom and a flat screen TV. Another guest queen bedroom and a guest bathroom.
This completes the main house of 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms but let's go to the pool house!
Out near the pool, you will find an outdoor shower, a private, enclosed shower, which completes a 5th full bathroom, however, it is exposed to temperatures but it is fully private for showering. Inside the pool/guest house is a studio style space with full size refrigerator, microwave/convection oven and kitchenette supplies. It also has a king size bed, flat screen TV and indoor sink and toilet. Step outdoors into the private, enclosed shower. It's a super cool space that you will enjoy!!
The owners have thought of every detail for Third Sandbar for guests to have the best experience possible.
Please note that we provide a STARTER set for guests to include trash bags, dishwasher soap, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, shampoo and shower gel. Guests SHOULD bring extra amounts of these items as the starter set is for 1 night.
Pets are considered with a nonrefundable pet fee, NON-aggressive breeds; you must disclose weight and breed prior to check in). No pets on furniture. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by pets, and cleaning up after their pets. Additional fees will apply for damage and/or cleanup.
Children are welcome at Third Sandbar; however, there is no childproofing. We ask that you remain with your children at all times.
House Rules and Things to Note:
Minimum Age to Rent is 24.
No Smoking and no vaping in the property. This is a non smoking property. $500 fee will be added if smoke odor is present in the home.
No Parties/Events.
Quiet Hours 10pm to 7am – Enforced.
Not responsible for accidents.
There is no child proofing; you must remain with your children at all times.
Must be able to walk stairs.
No more than 16 guests.
No late check outs after 10:15am or another night's stay will be charged.
Check in Time is approx time; housekeeping and maintenance make all attempts to be ready by 4pm but there is no guarantee.
Pets considered with paid pet fee prior to check in. Guest must disclose pets and pay pet fee prior to arrival.
STARTER set for guests to include trash bags, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo and shower gel. Guests SHOULD bring extra amounts of these items as the starter set is for 1 night.
Guests are responsible for their own beach chairs, beach towels and pool towels. Our linens and towels are NOT to be removed from the property for any reason. Guests will be charged linen fees for misuse of linens to include stains, tearing, etc.
Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can’t guarantee that you won’t hear/see construction, building, or community improvement projects and events during your stay.
Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time.
There are no refunds for outages of cable/WIFI or if pool is closed for cleaning, repair or maintenance or temperature is undesirable.
Please remember that you are on an island; mosquitos/pests can be plentiful several times per year. Our properties are treated by professional pest control service every 4-8 weeks.
If police are called to the property for any disturbance, a $500 fee will be assessed and guests will be required to vacate the property with no refund.

Third Sandbar is located in the heart of Port Aransas with some original homes around the area as well as newly built homes. Its unique location is right off of Ave G which is where all guests want to be due to easy access to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars, and convenience stores.
Getting Around:
Most guests rent a golf cart to enhance their beach experience and it's fun! Be sure to rent carts ahead of time and know the golf cart rules. Our guests will receive a discount code for golf cart rentals.
