Villa Yasmi is a stylish and timeless villa situated high on a hillside with a view of the tiny Micro Nisi island and the coast of Kefalonia in the distance. An elegant base for a couple or a smaller family looking for a relaxing beach vacation, the villa is just a 2-minute drive from Climati beach. Meanwhile, the quaint Agios Nikolaos harbor offers traditional waterside tavernas, boat trips and a mini market for essentials. Exposed wooden beams lend character to the double height living space, with a cute twin tucked under the eaves and a romantic and light-filled master bedroom on the ground floor. Both the master and the living area open onto furnished terraces, with lots of space to read in peace or eat with the family as the mood takes you. The grounds are attractively landscaped with oleander, bougainvillea, rosemary and of course jasmine, planted all around to create a sweetly scented cocoon of Mediterranean fragrance and color. Villa Yasmi’s centerpiece is a shimmering pool, carefully positioned to maximize both your privacy and the sweeping sea views. There’s space and comfort enough to encourage you to stay all day here, but the peacock iridescence of the Ionian Sea below is hard to resist, with Climati and Kremidi beaches reachable in 2 or 8 minutes respectively by car. These intimate pebble coves are perfect for snorkeling, sunbathing or perhaps an evening dip after a day exploring Zakynthos, but if you prefer a sandy beach with convenient resort-style facilities, Alykes beach is a good family choice around a 25-minute drive away. For more sophisticated dining, there are several upmarket options along the coast road between Yasmi and the port. Yasmi is one of three detached villas that can be booked together for a larger group, which we recommend for families celebrating a special occasion. Yasmi, Levandi and Meli are each private villas and well separated from the others, with individual entrances and swimming pools. Common areas for guests include a large additional sun terrace and a boules alley. Parking at the property Each villa has its own designated parking space. Driving instructions (not applicable for transfers) Please note that our driving directions are written with kilometre readings, it is therefore essential to reset your odometer as directed below. The kilometre readings given in these directions (shown in brackets) are only for guidance and may not be exact. We suggest that before you set off, you acquaint yourselves with the way your odometer works. In most cars it is electronic. To reset most of these models, you need to press the button until the reading flashes for some time and then becomes zero. Please take care driving these roads. Step 1 After you have collected your car from the airport, head towards the main airport exit. Following the exit signs will lead to a dual carriageway, take care to take the second LEFT towards Zakynthos. Head away from the airport, down the dual carriageway until you reach a T-junction (1.2km). You will see a fire station on your left. Step 2 Turn RIGHT at this junction. You will pass a yellow/blue petrol station on the left hand side and at the first set of traffic lights (2.4km) turn LEFT Step 3 Follow this road to the next set of traffic lights ( 3.2km) and turn LEFT at these lights onto dual carriage way. Step 4 Continue along this road and (approx 5km) you will approach the next set of traffic lights. Go straight ahead through the crossroads at the traffic lights. The road goes into single lane. Continue on this road passing AB supermarket on your right. Stay on this road, (approx. 7km) you will see the Volkswgen (VW) dealership on your right, please take care after this as the road bends sharply to the RIGHT. Step 5 Continue along this long road heading in the direction of KATASTARI, passing through the villages of Agios Kirikos and Agios Dimitrios. You will pass ‘Proton’ supermarket on your left (this is the last supermarket heading north). Approaching the village of Katastari (approx. 17km), continue through the village , taking car as the road narrows around many bends, this is the start of the uphill road to the north of the island. Step 6 After following this road, you will eventually come to a split in the road (approx. 22km), bear RIGHT, heading downhill following the sign for XIGIA, MAKRIS GIALOS & ST NIKOLAOS PORT. Step 7 Continue down this road as it, initially, climbs back uphill and then again downhill towards the coast. At Pelegaki Taverna, bear LEFT, then continue along the coast passing Xigia beach (approx. 24.5km), then Makris Gialos Beach (approx. 26.9 km). Step 8 After passing EL SUENO restaurant/bar, continue a little further until the LEFT turn for “ANO VOLIMA” and “CLIMATI STUDIOS”. Turn LEFT here (approx. 28.5km) Step 9 After 10 – 15 metres, turn RIGHT (after the sign for YIAMELI VILLAS, just before the electricity pylon) up a very steep concrete driveway . Continue up to the very top of this driveway. At the top (after passing the covered parking area), turn LEFT onto a gravel track. Passing through a set of gates the track once again becomes a concrete driveway, the entrance to Yiameli is on the LEFT. Drive through the gates. Step 10 The parking area for MELI is immediately on the right after the gate. The space for YASMI is the next one down on the right. LEVANDI’s parking space is at the bottom of the drive on the left.
