Sitting beside a picturesque pond overlooking fields of grazing horses, The Winery Barn at Durham Park offers space, light and comfort.. Architect-designed, the Barn is comfortable, light and modern while retaining some echoes of its industrial past.
The elegant simplicity of the living area is enhanced by soaring ceilings, polished concrete floors, comfy sofas and a mix of vintage and modern furnishings. A large wood-burning stove ensures winter comfort. Each of the three bedrooms is furnished with fine linens and each has its own stylish bathroom complete with towels and toiletries.
There is a well-equipped kitchen with European appliances, stainless steel benchtops, coffee machine, dishwasher and all the tools of the trade for those who like to cook. There is a covered patio for casual lunches with an abundance of lawn space to relax.
We offer self-catering accommodation with linen and towels and all paper products provided. We do ask guests to please leave the accommodation in the clean and tidy way in which is was when you arrived.
To enjoy this lovely place one need only sit and soak up the view of the pond, experience the peace and beauty of the changing seasons or engage with the many activities on offer in the local area.
The Winery Barn is set overlooking our working Equine property and we encourage our guests to wander the property and visit our many horses who are always welcoming to any visitors.
RATES:
Please note our nightly rates are based on 2 guests staying in one bedroom. There is an additional charge per extra guest (3-8) per night from our base rate.
It is the guests responsibility to ensure the correct number of guests and any pets are indicated at the time of booking.
In the instance 2 guests will be staying and separate bedrooms are required, there will be an additional $150 per stay for the use of the second bedroom.
If 3 guests are staying and each guest requires their own room an additional room usage charge of $200 stay will apply for use of the second & third bedroom. Please note this charge is on top of the accommodation rate. Please contact the owner prior to booking if there are any enquires.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
We encourage guests to be familiar with our cancellation policy as we are unable to refund for last minute cancellations at any time.
The only instance a refund would be possible is if the property was unable to be accessed in any way due to road closure or other issue including extended and statewide lockdowns.
While our property does not have any surrounding bush land we strongly encourage guests travelling during the fire season to seek travel insurance to avoid any financial loss should they choose not to travel. Last minute cancellations due to poor air quality or unexpected weather conditions will not incur a refund.
Guests are eligible for a full refund in the instance of a state wide travel ban. Please contact the owner for more information related to refunds due to COVID.
****DOGS:
Please ensure dogs are included in your booking.
We are very happy to offer our property as a pet (dog, bird & small exotic pets) friendly holiday location and we provide some items including water bowls and some toys for your pets stay.
To assist us in remaining a pet friendly location we do ask guests follow some house rules.
Dogs are not to enter bedrooms and are not to sleep on our furniture including couches. We have provided baby gates to assist in preventing dogs entering bedrooms while still allowing them to see you.
The bath and bath towels are to be used by guests only. We kindly ask that owners clean up after their dogs and return all bowls and toys to the basket provided.
Excessive dog hair on furniture and other areas of the accommodation will incur an additional cleaning fee of $90 to cover the time taken to ensure our next guests are also able to arrive to a beautifully presented accommodation.
