The Willow House got it's name from the beautiful 300 year old weeping willow tree that drapes over a portion of the back yard. The house is a 1350 spacious 6 room 2 bedroom Cape Cod style house, not a small cottage. The house is centrally located in southern Maine in Wells/Moody on the Ogunquit/Moody line. The Ogunquit and Wells Trolley stops are two doors from the house and will take you to fine and casual dining, Perkins Cove, Ogunquit Village, the Main Ogunquit Beach, the Footbridge Beach, Wells beach, miniature golf, go carts and ice cream shops which all start across the street at Spinnakers and continue on for miles in either direction. If you don't want to take the trolley you can walk to Moody, North Ogunquit and the Footbridge beaches, they are a 15 minute walk away or a 2 minute drive. Bourne Street is across the street and will take you to the ocean. There are 5 restaurants within a 5 minute walk, Spinnakers, The New England Seafood House, Stutesys, The Clam Shanty and Salt Water Café. The Willow has a large eat-in kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker (Kureg & regular), dishes, glasses, pots, pans and utensils. There is ample counter and cabinet space. The living/dining room is large with a Flat screen TV and comfortable furniture. The den has a full pull out sofa (good for kids) and a TV as well. There is one full bathroom on the first floor and a three season screened in porch with wicker furniture to relax on. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one has a king size bed in it and the other has two twin beds. The back yard is fenced in and has a patio with furniture and a grille. There is parking for 4 to 5 cars. Don't forget to bring your pooch! ***The Willow House is disinfected and cleaned before and after each renter. We use the recommended cleaner to stop Coivd-19.
