The Wilderness House is set in one of the most stunning areas of the American Southwest. This house is completely off the grid with no one in site in this unspoilt private canyon, it feels like you are a world away from everything, yet you are still close enough to the Arches and Canyonlands National Parks as well as the Colorado river and the excitement of Moab. Beautiful hikes are on your doorstep. And, you can relax at the end of the day with beautiful red rock and mountain scenery and to the sound of rushing water below. Preparing this description is quite difficult, because the Wilderness House is indescribable. You will be speechless too. If you need to quiet the chatter and reconnect with nature, then this is the place. Important Information (read before booking!) : Access to the house is via a dirt road with two shallow fords and requires a vehicle with high ground clearance (a minimum of 7", preferably 8"+. For example, Jeeps, Chevy Suburban and Tahoe, etc... The GMC Terrain has too little ground clearance). Notes for Large Parties (+6) : There is another, smaller house on the property, La Casita, located directly below the main house which can accommodate an additional 6 guests.
