Located on one of the most secluded beaches in the north of Cat Island where you can walk for miles on white, pink beaches. Take the path to MAN-O-WAR, the most northern point of Cat Island and explore deserted beaches and beautiful reefs on the atlantic side. Shannas Bay is great for swimming and snorkeling. We can arrange guided island tours, car rentals, bone fishing in the creeks and deep sea fishing. There are two restaurants in the bay that are walking distance and a food store 5 minutes by car. Shannas Cove Resort, restaurant and certified scuba diving center is only 400 yards away. 3 individual buildings offer 2 bedrooms with A/C, fan, king size beds, 2 bathrooms with open air showers, 1 living/kitchen area with TV, DVD player, fan, a fully equipped kitchen and a covered open air dining area on an huge beautiful porch right on the ocean. Kayaks, stand up boards and snorkel gear are available at Shannas Cove Resort. The best way to come to Cat Island is with Sky Bahamas The only flight to Cat Island is via Nassau and then Arthurs Town which is a 10 minute drive to the house. They are flying twice a day. Leaving Nassau to Arthurs Town at 9:00 am and 3:45 pm Leaving Arthurs Town to Nassau at 9:45 am and 4:30 pm Make sure you have at least 2 hours connection time in Nassau. Returning to the US you will pre clear customs in Nassau. Long term renters welcome, adults only, no pet's, weekly rent only.
