Start your day with a Nespresso on the broad shaded deck with a view of the beach and mountains, all the way along Seven Mile Beach to Gerroa and Mount Pleasant. Head down the private stairway path to Culburra Beach to sink your toes into the golden sands of one of the South Coast’s finest beaches in less than a minute. Swim, surf, or just float in crystal clear water and dry off under the shining sun whilst the kids splash in the waves.
Shower off the sand in the outdoor shower or any of the three indoor ones, and enjoy lunch cooked in the kitchen or on the BBQ. After eating, have fun in either of two entertaining areas with TV, DVDs, Netflix and board games. Take a break from the group by taking a book into the beautifully landscaped garden and reading in the sun, or sinking into relaxation in the spa with stunning views of the ocean right out the window.
The design of The View means that two of the four bedrooms look right out onto the waves, so if you need to lie down for an hour, you won’t be shutting yourself away from the views. In the afternoons, slide the enormous glass doors all the way open and enjoy a few cold ones out on the deck and admire your private view of the beach.
This split-level property has been the permanent home of the owners for many years, and they are proud to share its uniqueness with their guests – they recommend enjoying nearby Ocean Street Beach or Tilbury Cove if you enjoy beach walks, and if you want to grab good takeaway coffee or food to cook at home, check out Food and More just down the road. Nearby is also Penguin Head with its breathtaking view off the headland, as well as Wollumboola Lake a short walk from the house.
