Welcome to the Treehouse
Tucked away from the road, you'll find this incredible two bedroom cabin with a large bonus bunk room! Upstairs, the great room windows let in gorgeous mountain light, breathtaking treetop and mountain views, and access to the outdoor wrap around deck. Patio furniture, propane BBQ, and the cool mountain breeze make the deck a perfect hangout all summer long! The dining room table for 10 spans the wall of windows, and is set a little higher up for optimum views during every meal. We can just imagine enjoying breakfast as snow falls in the winter, or as wildlife flutters by in the summer! All of the bedrooms are located downstairs, which also has access to outside. The primary bedroom features a king bed and ensuite bathroom, a TV, and an electric fireplace. The second bedroom has a queen bed and TV. The bunk room is open to a secondary living room complete with TV and wood stove, and offers more sleeping space for kids or adults with two bunk beds (one single over single, one full over full, see pictures). Another bathroom and double vanity are located in the bunk room. Each bed has a memory foam topper, offering much needed comfort after a long day of outdoor activities.
The Space
This two story cabin provides enough space for 10 guests. Downstairs, you'll find two bedrooms just off bunk room, a fun space where there's just enough privacy to have your own space, but still feel like you're all camping together. A wood burning fireplace will heat the whole cabin, so make sure to stock up on wood during the cold snowy months! The open concept kitchen, dining, and living space upstairs are the perfect place to gather, and have second-to-none views of the surrounding treetops. The back deck is perfect for BBQing and bird watching. There's plenty of space to explore in the summer and your own personal snow park in the winter. There's plenty of parking for 3 vehicles, but the slightly steep driveway may be difficult in the winter. Make sure to have tire chains and 4WD if you're coming when there's snow in the forecast.
The Neighborhood
Located in the Sierra Cedars neighborhood dotted with unique and extravagant cabins, this is a prime location for viewing wildlife. Take a long hike to the neighborhood pond, or a quick drive to Shaver Lake! Plowed roads in the winter for some accessibility, and easy parking with possible boat parking from late spring-early fall! Breathe in the crisp mountain air and sip your morning coffee, or barbecue with your family and friends outdoors in this family-friendly neighborhood. Five minute drive to restaurants and shopping, just over 30 minutes to China Peak Ski Resort!
Getting Around
We suggest using your own vehicle to get around. You are more than welcome to walk, jog, or bike around the neighborhood! 4 wheel drive and tire chains are strongly encouraged during winter months, and may be required by California Highway Patrol if there's snow in the forecast. It's not uncommon for the roads to close when there is heavy snow fall. Make sure to keep an eye on your weather forecast.

House Rules
1. Communication is key! Check in after 4pm. Check out by 11am. Our office hours are between 8am-9pm, so please communicate between those hours and let us know if you plan to arrive after 9pm.
2. Honesty is the best policy! Let us know about ALL guests who will be coming to the house. Maximum Occupancy is 10.
3. No parties! We know this home holds a lot of people, but we still request that you respect it as if it's your own. No smoking of any kind. Removal of smoke detectors is illegal. Loud music, excessive rowdiness, excessive drinking, smoking, etc. will result in a $1,000 party fine. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am.
4. Be respectful! When using outdoor areas (patio, bbq, etc.), and other provided amenities, please clean up after yourself so the next guests can enjoy them as well. If something is wrong, low, or out, please let us know so we can fix it.
5. Have fun! Our goal is to host a vacation to remember. If you don't agree with our above rules, this is NOT the house for you, please let us know so we can find you a home that better suits your needs! We'll always do our best to make sure you have the best time!
6. Be a good neighbor! Please NEVER leave trash outside where it will attract bears and other wild animals. There is a provided dumpster for your convenience. This is a tight-knit mountain community and we all need to do our part to keep it clean and beautiful!
