Summary: My stay in Budapest was part of a long business trip. Prior to that, I had spent two weeks traveling in China. I arrived in Budapest early in the morning after spending 18 hours on planes. When I got to the hotel around 9 a.m., I asked if early check-in was possible—even for an additional fee. The staff kindly explained that the hotel was fully booked, but they would do their best. To my surprise and relief, they managed to check me in by 11 a.m. instead of the standard 3 p.m. This was absolutely fantastic after such a long and exhausting journey.
