Tucked away in trendy EAST AUSTIN, this tiny home has everything you'll need for your Austin adventure. The perfect refuge or Austin launch pad. The 400 square feet is very cushy with two separate bedrooms and a full kitchen/chill room.

The layout of the cottage is perfect to maximize the space. The main area includes a full kitchen, bistro table, and couch for some chill and Netflix time on the TV. The two bedrooms are on either side of the main room. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other has a comfy full bed. The large deck is perfect hanging out. With great weather you can dine outside or just sit in one of the patio chairs and read a book.
*Although we allow four guests to book the cottage, keep in mind that the hot water heater is very small. We recommend short (5 minute) showers spaced out among guests.

How is the TINY HOME situated?
The tiny cottage is tucked behind the main house on a large lot. There is a 10 foot privacy fence in between the houses, so it is very private.
Are long showers possible?
The house has a small water heater- 5min hot showers
What is the parking situation?
There is parking space for one car directly behind the house or in front of the deck. On-street parking is free and always available.

Is the space wheelchair friendly?
The entire house is one level and the doorway to the bedroom is fairly wide. The driveway is gravel and brick.

How do I check in?
A day or two before your arrival, we send the details for your check in: address, door code, wifi info. You will be able to come and go using a code. Your personal code is activated at 3 pm, so if you request an early check in the code may not work. Just remind us!
Can I extend a stay?
To extend a stay, you can request through the app or message us. We will check the calendar then send confirmation with the new payout.
Can I change or cancel my reservation?
We have a moderate cancellation policy. It may vary a bit between platforms, but usually 5 days prior to arrival guests may receive a full refund. If a guests wants to make changes within the five days arrival or after arrival, we cannot provide a refund.
Are pets allowed?
We love dogs and love to host but they do cause more complications for our cleaning crew. We have a limit of 2 dogs with a 100.00 pet fee. Please let us know if you are bringing your pup. If guests arrive with a pet without making prior arrangements, the fee is 250.00. Because of allergies, we cannot host cats.
Service vs Emotional Support
Service dogs have received specialized training to performa specific task or tasks for an individual with a disability are considered service animals. Please provide the documentation and the pet fee is waived. Emotional support animals are important as well, but they will be charged the pet fee.
Are there extra pillows?
We provided two pillows per person. For instance, a queen bed will have four sleeping pillows. We leave plenty of extra blankets as well.
Are extra guests allowed?
If you have a few (2-3) friends pop over, this is not an issues. If you have extra guests sleeping over or more than five guests for an event, please ask and we can asses:)
Is smoking allowed outside?
Yes, you are welcome to smoke outside the space. Please pick up cigarette butts. Smoking inside the home would result in a 250.00 fee for cleaning and possible blocking nights for other guests.
Could we leave our luggage?
We are able to store luggage in the space for two hours before or after check in. Let us know so our cleaners are not surprised. Our house down the street with a safe carpart - also a safe option for leaving bags for a longer time period. Just let us know. There is also a service (usebounce) that is an option for storing bags.
Could I have an early check-in or late checkout?
We use the DACK app (info given upon confirmation) where guests can purchase extra time before check-in or after check-out. This allows our cleaners to manage their time and have houses ready in a timely manner.
What is a MUST do in Austin?
We love Barton Springs (especially in warmer months). South Congress has so much in a close proximity. Park close to Jo’s Coffee and stroll from there (shopping, cafes, music!). Vera Cruz tacos are really the best Austin has! Our Capital is gorgeous and very worrth a drive by!Austin, like many other cities across America, is experiencing a crisis of homelessness. To that end, you may run across a few tent encampments in the hood. Honestly, no one will really want anything from you, but some folk from out of town are disconcerted when they come across it.
We love our neighbors so quiet after 10pm.
