The 3 bedroom 2 bathroom beach house is cozy, about 850 square feet, but very well laid out for maximum family fun and interaction. Limited to 6 people.

While The Round House is a place to let the rest of the world fade away, if you do need to work, we have reliable/high speed WIFI for your use. Yes, you can get away from it all and stay connected at the same time.

LOCATION
We are located in the town of Salvo, NC in the Outer Banks. This is a quiet beach community where you will find some of the most beautiful beaches and scenery in the world.
The Round House is located only 100 yards from the beach access path. A short easy walk.
During Peak Season: CHECK-IN ON FRIDAY and avoid the typical change-over traffic in the Outer Banks! The Retro Round House is just a 2.5 hour drive from the D.C. area.
PETS
We love dogs and can host one dog. There will be a $100 pet fee. Unfortunately, we cannot allow cats because of a severe family allergy.
The Round House is located in an ideal neighborhood setting. Kids can safely ride their bikes, skateboards or scooters and you can take a nice jog around our sleepy two mile loop.
Also, Salvo has a wonderful walking/bike path so your can ride bikes to the day use area or to one of several wonderful local restaurants.
As for the BEACH....We are only 100 yards from the beach path on the ocean side of the street. No roads to cross. You can hear the waves from our deck!

Salvo is a quiet beach town, yet features some wonderful restaurants, outdoor water sport adventures, deep sea fishing and world class kite boarding.
You will need a car to get to Salvo! However, once you have arrived you can ride your bike or walk to many restaurants and recreational areas.
1. Hurricanes are a possibility. Please understand this when you book your vacation rental. We do not provide refunds due to Hurricane evacuation. However, we will work with you by providing mid-season complimentary days to match days missed if an evacuation occurs.
2. We suggest paying for your reservation with an American Express Card. Several American Express Cards will cover the cost of your trip should a Hurricane evacuation become necessary.
3. The Round House does require climbing steps. As is true of most beach homes in the area, the house sits on pilings.
4. The Wifi in the Round House is suitable for remote work to include Zoom calls.
5. Stays longer than two weeks require additional cleanings during your stay at the posted cleaning rate.
