The Rondavel (pronounced ron-daah-ville) with its 5,000 square feet of comfy and luxurious living space, has four bedrooms, is nestled in the palms only 100 yards from the gulf beach on one side and 100 yards from the private dock slip on the bay side.

Little Gasparilla Island is a private and secluded barrier island located in Charlotte County, between Boca Grande and Palm Island, Fl. It is only accessible by boat (taxi boat) – there is no bridge connecting it to the mainland and no cars are allowed on the island. Boats are available to rent as well as availability for water taxi service for commuting the quick 4-5 minute ride to the mainland. The surrounding islands have additional amenities (you will find at least 75 restaurants, golf courses, shopping, marinas all within a short driving distance) if you wish to take time away from your island home.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Bedrooms
All four bedrooms have Sealy Posturepedic mattresses with memory foam for extra comfort. Three large bedrooms equipped with TVs.

Several pillows to choose from: soft, foam, extra firm.
Master Bedroom 1: King-size. French doors allow access to the private deck off master room. En suite bathroom. Sleeps 2.
Master Bedroom 2: King-size bedroom on the first floor together with en suite bathroom. Sleeps 2.
Third Bedroom: Queen-size with en suite bathroom. Sleeps 2.
Fourth Bedroom: Bunk bed (lower is a Full and upper, a Twin). Also, a trundle. Sleeps 3.

Open eating area with modern fully equipped kitchen – everything you can possibly think of. Coffee bean grinder with filtered coffee maker, Nespresso and Keurig coffee machines. Granite countertops with bar stools. Separate walk-in pantry.

The Beach
The ocean waters on LGI are calm, clear, and shallow – perfect for children. The sand is soft underfoot and snorkeling for shells is fun. Water temperature depends on time of year, but swimming is a possibility most of the year. There are no steep drop-offs when you enter the water from the shore. The bottom is pure white sand and there is usually a sand bar 10-20 yards offshore which keeps the waves to a minimum. A relaxing stroll on the beach will provide hundreds of shells for the collector.
A 100 yards walk either way gets you to the beach or to the bay. Only takes 3 mins at a leisurely pace. The calm waters make kayaking an ideal activity.
SUITABILITY
The perfect guests are those looking for a relaxed vacation, in an extremely well-appointed home with beautiful surroundings and peace and privacy. Visitors looking for lots of nightlife or those who prefer to eat every meal in a restaurant and don’t want to cook on vacation would probably be happier on the mainland.
Minimum Age Limit for Renters: We desire ONLY responsible renters 25 years or older. No party people please. Maximum of 8 guests. $100 per person per night thereafter and only with the owner's permission. We are on septic tank system and can only accommodate xx amount of guests per day/week etc.
Children Welcome: the entire house is kid friendly together with a pack and play, high chair, children’s pool, books, puzzles, and beach toys.
We have a brand new four-seat golf cart that we rent separately for $50/day or $250/week. Just let us know if you want to rent the golf cart before you reserve the house and we will include it. Children (under 14) are absolutely not allowed to drive the golf cart.
If you are brining your own boat, we have a boat slip - max size boat is 24 feet. Let us know so that we can provide you with the special pass needed to be placed on your boat.
Can the house be rented for less than a week?
Possibly, for a minimum of 4 nights. Stay requests are reviewed and granted at a rate of $500 per night. This rate includes the cleaning fee and all taxes.

Can I bring my dog?
Possibly, we will consider a (small) family non-shedding doggie. Please call so that we can discuss.
Non-refundable fee: $100 per dog + tax. License, vaccinations, and preventative flea control required. In addition, please properly dispose of pet waste. Dogs (leashed) are allowed on the beach at any time.
How do I make a reservation?
Reservations are made once we have communicated by email or phone with you to determine suitability.
When should we receive our deposit back?
Assuming there are no damaged items, you will receive your deposit back within two weeks.
What types of problems are typically withheld from the deposit?
Deposit deductions are typically made for smoking in the house; major damage such as the replacement of felt on the pool table if ripped because of improper use; or clogging of septic tank because of toys or other hygiene products being incorrectly disposed of through the system.
Occasionally there is a charge for minor damage or missing items, but this is not the norm.
Strictly non-smoking in the house. Smoking only outside of the house. Entire deposit will be forfeited for smoking in the house.
