Summary: I found out two days before our stay that the home was double booked on the last day of our visit. I texted with the owner several times and she decided that she was going to honor the other persons booking. I had to find another home for our last night, which was costly as a last minute booking. When we arrived on our first day, the owner was present and said the cleaner did not show up, so we had to wait until 5:30 to check in. When we checked in, wet towels were still in the washer and one of the beds had not been changed. The owner did refund me for 2 nights stay but I did not feel this was adequate compensation for the inconvenience the double booking caused. It's too bad that we had all these problems because the house and yard were very nice.
