Venue At The River serves as a place to gather for our family and friends to enjoy peaceful water views and your own private pavilion and dock. Our little piece of paradise is ready for you!
(This rental is specific to the "River House At The River" accommodation. We also have a more intimate "Guest House" option which sleeps 2, complete with private entrance, balcony, and access to riverfront amenities. Please message us for more information.)
The space:
New for 2022, our completely renovated and updated vacation home boasts 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 3 queen beds, a queen-size futon bed, a covered deck with seating for 8 people, a full kitchen AND downstairs kitchenette, and a unique glass roll-up door in the bottom unit that allows for spectacular all-season views of the Allegheny River. Even more amenities are on the way, including a brand-new 6-person hot tub slated for installation mid-summer 2022. Pontoon boat rentals are also available on a per-day basis.
There are plenty of outdoor activities available based on the season of your stay. Guests love to take our kayaks across the river (when available) to bike or stroll on the Armstrong Trail, part of the Erie to Pittsburgh trail network. Swim in the spring-fed deep water off our dock or take in the sights and sounds of the forest on one of the many nearby hiking trails. Come back for deer season as access to state game lands is a short drive away from your door.
Other things to note:
Please keep in mind that there it is a 20 to 30 minute drive to the nearest grocery store from our property. Please take advantage of the shops at Hilltop Plaza (off the PA-268 West Kittanning exit) prior to arriving if you don't intend on having to leave once you have settled in.
Late check out is available if requested prior to check-in and approved by host.
NOTE: Venue At The River is a riverfront property on the Allegheny River. This is a popular recreation area in the summer months, and there might be music and entertainment coming from neighboring guests and homes during the season.
