Beautiful, secluded home overlooking pond in Darlington. Southern charm meets country chic! 3 Bedrooms/2 Baths with a Full Kitchen, Central heat & air, a wood burning fireplace and accommodates up to 8 guests. Conveniently located only 6 miles from I-95 in Florence. Our home provides the perfect place to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Located almost a half-mile off the main road, you will have plenty of privacy to enjoy the beautiful country setting. You can watch ducks come and go on the pond, listen to the songbirds, watch the sunrise or sunset, maybe even catch a glimpse of whitetail deer feeding in the nearby field. Bring your own fishing poles and enjoy fishing in the pond from the dock but please remember to catch and release! The home offers satellite TV in the living room on a smart TV. However, wi-fi if not currently available in the area. We hope that AT&T will expand its service area soon so that we can add this feature to the home. Someone is always available during your stay if needed. The home is located on our working farm so you may encounter us working in the fields nearby, but we do our best to respect the privacy of our guests. We love hosting individuals and families, but we do not permit pets. Also, NO EVENTS OR PARTIES without prior approval and payment. Although you may feel as if you are far, far away from the city, we are actually just 6 miles from I-95: exit 164 in Florence, the halfway point between New York and Florida! Our house offers travelers a great alternative to a hotel stay! Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby! A short 15-20 minute drive and you can be at the Darlington Raceway (8 miles), McLeod Hospital (8.5 miles), Carolinas Hospital (11 miles), Frances Marion University (11 miles), Country Club of South Carolina ( 7.5 miles) or the Florence Regional Airport (8.5 miles). Easy drive to Myrtle Beach ( 72 miles), Charleston (140 miles), Santee (74 miles) or Columbia (86 miles)! And for the boating/fishing enthusiasts, we are just a 10-minute drive to a free public boat landing on the Great Pee Dee River!
