The Piggery is a cosy detached self contained cottage, converted some years ago from a former pigsty and recently refurbished to create a cosy space for two. The Piggery is located opposite our 17th Century farmhouse on our Sussex farm, and is situated at the end of a long farm track with stunning views over the Combe Valley. Expect beautiful views, birdsong, and the occasional tractor or combine harvester. You won't find street lighting or busy night life here! No WiFi in the countryside so leave the smart phone at home, bliss! The accommodation has a large bedroom / living room with king size bed and luxury bed linen, comfy armchairs in front of a woodburning stove, and dining space. There is room for a travel cot which can be provided for little guests on request. The cottage has a fully equipped separate kitchen and bathroom with bath and shower. Gas central heating and woodburning stove for chillier seasons, supplied with logs to get you started (more available for a small charge payable at the accommodation). Outside, the Piggery has its own garden with stunning views over the valley to the rear; lawn and seating area and barbecue at the front for summer time dining. The garden is fully fence enclosed and dog proof. The Piggery is an ideal location to explore the local area, from historic Battle, to Hastings with the old town and Rye. The Combe Valley is on the doorstep with direct access from our farm to walks across the country park.
