The spacious country kitchen features a large dining table, wood heater set in the original fire place, and windows with views across the garden. The cosy living room has casement windows, and 2 comfortable lounges, with a wood fired heater set in the original fire place. There is a large television with DVD player. The cottage has 3 bedrooms. At the front of the house there are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed, the other with two single beds. Both rooms have high ceilings, victorian style beds, and original french doors that open onto a verandah and secluded garden with a lavender hedge. The 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds, and original casement windows that overlook the garden. All beds have electric blankets. The cottage has a simple bathroom, with a shower over a bath, and basin. There are 2 toilets, and a washing machine. The property offers views across the historic township of Clunes and Mount Beckworth. Within the grounds there is a walled garden, an old orchard bordered by hawthorne hedge, and several lawn areas. The dramatic oak trees are a feature of the property and are heritage listed.
