2 Bedroom Cottage in Wellfleet

Originally built in the 1940's, and lovingly restored in 2021, our quaint 2+ bedroom beach cottage unites contemporary & classic styles while maintaining its original Cape Cod charm.
“The North Star” cottage is situated in the scenic town of Wellfleet, known for its spectacular beaches, pristine spring-fed ponds, prized oysters and eclectic art galleries. Wellfleet, located on outer Cape Cod, is 15 miles south of Provincetown and 10 miles north of Orleans. The cottage is less than a 10 min drive to the National Seashore. It is one of an adorable, quiet, vintage 7-cottage association situated on a grassy knoll in Indian Neck; famed for Indian Neck Beaches with their peaceful, secluded vibe. Next door to the Pilgrim Spring Conservation Area, which includes 60 acres of serene hiking trails, it is also less than a 5 min drive to town and the much-loved Wellfleet Drive-In Movie Theater. Most wonderfully, our cottage is less than a mile to beautiful bay side Indian Neck Beaches!
“The North Star” is freshly painted and has new hardwood floors & cathedral ceilings with beautiful pine beams in every room. It has a newly cedar shingled exterior, and it has a mini split with heat/ac. Ideal for a couple or family of 3-4, it is small (520 sq ft) but well-equipped, with an open living/dining/kitchen area, 2 bedrooms & 3 season porch w/daybed. A private deck with an outdoor sectional & dining table for 4, Weber grill, & private enclosed outdoor shower, overlook on a grassy sloping lawn, dotted with lovely trees and a cozy hammock.
The cottage has no tv, but has a projector/large movie screen & WiFi. There are dressers and areas to hang clothes, but there are no closets, and the indoor bathroom has a small shower and no tub. That said, it’s a perfect launching pad to discover amazing outer Cape Cod!

Summary: Cottage is in a beautiful wooded area in Wellfleet near Indian Neck beach. The cottage is a short 5-minute drive to the center of Wellfleet and the wharf area. Beds and couches are very comfortable; kitchen and hutch are filled with useful dinnerware, cookware and all essential tools for cooking, and deck has a comfortable sectional, chairs, table and gas grill nearby; and neighborhood is conducive for a quiet retreat. The hosts communicated all important information in a timely manner. I will certainly be interested in renting this cottage in the future.
