This charming Large Cottage is designed for up to eight adults ( children over 2 years welcome ) looking for a relaxing getaway together.

The property is self check in from 12pm (to let you settle in and get on with your stay) and checkout is strictly 11am. (Unless previously arranged with owner) if property is not booked we are happy to extend both checkin and checkout times. Makes a big difference to a two night stay.
The Mouse House is within easy walking distance to all attractions, (Echo Point, The Three Sisters, Scenic World and all walking tracks are easily accessible. A minutes walk to the renowned Jamison Valley, Leura Cascades, and Bridal Falls.
This Cottage has everything one could want for over two sprawling levels.
Three queen bedrooms upstairs, One with Ensuite with large walk-in shower with rain hood the other main bathroom with double walk-in shower and claw foot bath and double vanity.
The Gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooktop electric oven, inverter microwave, drip filter coffee awaits.
A large family room with TV and DVD player is on this level with doors leading out to one of the three patio areas. This one is north facing, lovely breakfast spot in the sunshine with views looking to The Carrington Hotel.
There is a second formal lounge room with gas log fireplace and a small library to sit and enjoy a nice glass of port🍷on this level.
The lower level accessed by internal staircase opens to a large rumpus room with another lounge area with large flat screen TV, DVD ( lots of movies for the family )and Jukebox. For the boys, a nine foot pool table and bar awaits for those inclement days which do occur, or relaxing nights together after a great day out exploring.
A fourth King Bedroom with full private Bathroom and toilet awaits downstairs with access to another large outdoor patio area facing north also with BBQ and dining area setting, leading to the rear garden.
This patio is also accessible from the rumpus area.
There is a lovely swing in the front garden hanging from the large Atlas Cedar tree.
No detail or expense has been spared designing and personally constructing The Mouse House over the past two years.
Fritz and I have collected all the lead light windows from all over Australia and restored them, saving them from demolishers. All the furniture is recycled and restored also.
