Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: An old mill with rooms, a pub, and a restaurant downstairs. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options, including vegan choices. All the staff were very friendly, with a special mention for Kim, who was a real pleasure to chat with at the end of the day. The room was very spacious, with an equally large bathroom.
Negative: Unfortunately, the WiFi seemed to be down only in our room. Being an old mill, the entire area doesn’t even have a standard cell phone signal, so for anything we had to go to the common areas. The bathroom and some parts of the room could use some updating and cleaning. Nothing major, but with a little attention, it could be perfect.
