Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The property itself ha slots of character and made a gorgeous, rustic backdrop to our NYE celebrations. The surrounding countryside was also perfect for long walks in nature. It was easy to get in and we were able to make good use of the kitchen and shared living spaces (dining table & sitting area) as a group of 13. We had such a great time there, we would absolutely go back.

Negative: One of the 4 rooms had a bath, rather than a shower and one of the 3 showers didn't get any hot water, so we were sharing 2 between us which was a bit of a squeeze. I was in one of the large king size beds which was really comfortable, but some of my friends reported other double beds were very small for a couple or not very comfortable (dipping a lot in the middle, for example). We brought food with us, but assumed that essentials like salt & pepper would be available, which they weren't, so worth bringing everything you need. Overall it was a really positive experience though, these were all minor points.
