One of the most striking properties on the Mornington Peninsula, this house is uniquely clad in aged metal.
It has been specifically set-up to comfortably accommodate family groups of holiday-makers. 5 bedrooms in total, all with new mattresses. The master is enormous with its own ensuite, a Queen bed and a 46 inch full HD TV connected to Foxtel's premium package (90+ channels), 2 other bedrooms also have Queen beds. The 4th bedroom has 4 single bunks and one trundle, sleeping 5 in total, (ideally suited for children or adolescents although they can sleep adults). The 5th bedroom is setup primarily as a studio / retreat and contains a comfortable sofa bed (double size), bean bags and a TV connected to Foxtel.
The custom built dining table has been constructed from recycled baltic pine, oregon and hardwood. It easily seats 12. The 10 chairs surrounding the table can be supplemented with outdoor chairs as required.
The outdoor table (also custom made for the space) really is unique. Constructed from cypress, treated pine and merbau, it comfortably seats 13. A BBQ and Pizza Oven complete the outdoor entertaining area.
The open plan living area has ample seating with 3 couches surrounding a roof mounted 150 inch home cinema projector connected to Foxtel's premium package (90+ channels) as well as a Playstation/DVD player and a dynamite sound system. The living room is terrific for watching movies on a huge screen in the evenings. If you need a break-out space for the kids, send them into the master bedroom or Studio and select from Foxtel's array of children's programming.
Two huge glass doors open the living area out onto the front deck which has been built around a tea tree that we just couldn't bring ourselves to remove. The front garden has a beautiful stand of Moonah trees, a reflection pond and 2 car carport all carrying over the metal clad theme of the house.
The kitchen has an induction cooktop, dishwasher, oven and microwave. An open plan design flows from the kitchen and island bench through the dining area down into the living space and front deck.
Two bathrooms and a laundry with washing machine and dryer complete the house. Ducted heating will keep you warm, air conditioning and fans will keep you cool.

We provide pillows, donnas and mattress protectors only.
You will need to bring your own linen - sheets, pillowcases, doona covers and towels.
With one week’s prior notice we can arrange linen and towels for $50 per Queen bed and $30 per single.

A one kilometere walk in different directions will get you to the front or back beaches. The Blairgowrie shopping strip is 1.7km away. The area is saturated with golf clubs, pubs, restaurants, wineries and even an amazing hot springs relaxation centre. Harry Blythe Playground is great for kids and literally a few minutes walk from the Metalhouse.
