Positive: I stayed at The Lucky Canggu Homestay and was really happy with my experience. The location is excellent – the beach is within walking distance, and also easy to reach by bike. Markets and restaurants are just a short walk away, so for Canggu I’d say it’s perfect. Before this stay, I had spent some time at a 5-star hotel, and honestly, I found the cleanliness of the sheets and the condition of the towels here even better. If you’d like your room cleaned, you just need to hang the card on the window, which is very convenient. What stood out to me most was the helpfulness of the staff and the great value for money. For the price I paid, the service I received was excellent. A hairdryer was available in the room, and when I asked for an extra mirror, they brought one right away. They even gave me a spray for mosquitoes – a nice little bonus :) I didn’t use the kitchen myself, but it’s good to know that cooking and storing food in the fridge is possible if needed.
Negative: One small point for improvement: the hot water tends to run out a bit quickly, so you’ll probably end up with a refreshing cold shower at the end – which, after the Bali heat, can actually feel quite nice 😅.
