The spacious layout offers plenty of room for families or groups to relax and entertain making long lasting memories. This is stay is a perfect home-away-from-home. Perfectly situated in Taroona a short distance from the Hobart CBD and waterfront precinct on the scenic route between Hobart and Kingston. This tranquil stay provides an ideal base for those wanting to explore this renowned Southern Tasmanian region or simply unwind in your own private retreat. Upon entering the home on the lower level you will be greeted by the wide entrance foyer which leads to the homes 3 bedrooms, bathroom and second sitting room. The 2 bedrooms feature a queen size beds and the 3rd a single bed. The spacious main bathroom includes a deep free-standing bath, double vanity, and walk in shower. Up the stairs you will be greeted by the the amazing views over the Derwent River and the spacious layout of the open plan living/dining/kitchen area. You can stock up on fresh gourmet produce at the local market farmers market or the famous Salamanca market and make use of the fully equipped kitchen, where you’ll find everything needed to prepare meals at home, including a fridge, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and other cooking essentials like pots, pans and utensils. Eat together at the six-seater dining table , or head out onto the deck and use the six-seater outdoor table. Sink into the large modular lounge and kick back with a movie or simply lay back with your favourite book or just daydream looking at the view. Just past the living area is the spacious master bedroom features a queen-size bed with walk-in robe and enjoys the nsuite bathroom complete with double vanity and walk-in shower. Seperate laundry facilities include a washing machine and dryer. Additional conveniences include Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, and secure parking for one car on the premises. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Relax , unwind and base yourself ideally to explore Hobart and surrounds During your stay, you and your group will have the entire house to yourself. Please make yourself at home! Friendly neighbourhood with mix of families and retirees . There is a cafe within a 10 minute walk, plenty of local walking tracks including foreshore and alum cliff walks. There are two parks for kids within 5 minute walk Excellent location for exploring Hobart and surrounds. The cafes, galleries, restaurants and sights of Hobart are less than 15-minutes’ drive away. Take a ferry to MONA or wander around the city's picturesque waterfront precinct and visit Salamanca Market, held on Saturdays, to stock up on gourmet produce as well as local arts and crafts. For a great family day out, the historic village of Richmond is approximately a half-hour drive, featuring more than 50 Georgian buildings and the oldest gaol in Australia. Other local attractions include World Heritage-listed Port Arthur, Bruny Island, Huon Valley, and the Tasman Peninsula. Ideally located between Sandy Bay and Kingston with a selection of good restaurants , beaches and play grounds and shopping centres. Parking: There is a free parking spot available in the driveway for one car. Airport: 27 km from the house which is about a 30 minute drive. Public Transport: 200 metres to the nearest bus stop.
