Summary: I thought this property was right on the water. Could be my mistake, but the listing was taken down so I can’t even go back and see if it was misleading or not. It’s almost 1/5 mile walk to the beach. Kayaks provided but good luck getting them there. I will say the actual lake & beach is amazing, although gets crowded at times with all the people from the campground. We really enjoyed the loons, blue heron and saw a bald eagle a few times! The cabin smells a little, probably from the wood stove I’m guessing. Would have been nice to get extra towels. The bathroom handsoap container was literally water- zero soap. I just thought that was weird. I had to make hand soap with water and dish soap. In the end, we got used to it but there is ZERO cellular service or even Wi-Fi. I feel like that should be advertised. We were here over July 4 and I have to say I loved that there were no fireworks, the dog, kids and I appreciated that greatly! Overall we ended up having a nice stay.
