2 Bedroom House in Inverness
The Kent House is a 2 bedroom classic older Inverness summer home. The FIRST bedroom has a very comfortable queen bed and two single beds. The SECOND bedroom has a king bed with bathroom.The living room has a futon sofa that will sleep two. The living room has a lovely brick fireplace and we supply plenty of firewood. The house also has gas heating throughout. We now have wi-fi but no television. We have a small cabin with a King bed, the smaller cabin has it's own bath with tub and shower. The cabin can be rented with the house for an additional $100.00 per night. The cabin will not be rented to others during your stay should you not want it. Please note that all major Holidays require a 4 night minimum stay. No exceptions. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove toaster oven and microwave oven. Plenty of cookware and dishes. The house has three bathrooms the main bath off the kitchen has a lovely old bathtub the second bathroom has a shower and nearly new washer and dryer the third bath in the small cabin has a new bathroom with shower and bathtub. The small cabin is a few steps across the deck from the main house. The outside deck on the house is large with plenty of seating and gets lots of sun. The house sits above a pleasant creek in a quiet wooded area with very little traffic. The parking area is across the footbridge with room for three cars. 1st Valley house is a 5 minute walk from downtown Inverness with 2 restaurants and a grocery store and coffee shop. Tomales Bay and Ocean Beaches are a 10 to 20 minute drive depending on your destination. Inverness is 10 minutes away from The Point Reyes National Seashore. The entire area is exceptionally beautiful with lots to do and see. Our family home is a real Inverness experience. The house is not fancy but it is comfortable and very pleasant.
