Positive: We arranged to stay here at short notice after an AirBnb experience gone wrong - within half an hour of us booking on booking.com, Mr Lal had got back to us, arranged a tuktuk to pick us up and had arranged early check-in so we could relax after a bad nights sleep. Following our arrival all bad memories were erased as we were in such a relaxing, peaceful and calm environment with an exceptional host. We loved the rooms, with exceptional linen and a strong minimalist vibe. The homestay is in a great location, away from the busy bits of Varkala and in a peaceful lane where you can hear lots of birds at sunset. Mr Lal cooked us two delicious meals, a highlight of our trip, and was great company - we loved chatting to him about India and hearing his tales. We would love to come back and are very grateful for Mr Lal's help - thank you!
