Positive: Beautiful holiday home, the photos don't do it justice. A touch of luxury in an island paradise. Very close proximity to the Gutter Bar and easily accessible by 4WD from the ferry (just make sure you check the tide times to ensure easy passage). The home has solar power and batteries which allows for all the modern comforts. So spacious with lots of bedding options and 2 bathrooms. Kitchen is fully equipped to allow for catering of large groups including a large gas oven-top and fridge/freezer big enough for a long stay. The beds are spread out across 3 separate buildings, giving adequate privacy. The outdoor dining area and BBQ is perfect for relaxing after a long day of adventuring around the island. There is Starlink internet connection so the kids could watch a movie at night before bed and we could connect with friends and family to share photos of our holiday.
Negative: The bore water has a strong sulphur smell that takes a bit of getting used to but it is hard to complain about being able a hot shower after a long day.
Summary: Family dream holiday - will be back for sure!
