Forge Brook 1818 is a restored home that was once the site of a 19th-century forge, cutlery and blacksmith shop that operated during the American Revolution by John Bailey and his wife. This forgery produced the most famous silver mounted sword of American origin for General George Washington. Today it is a unique, modern farmhouse right on Main Street in beautiful Fishkill, NY. Forge Brook 1818 isless than a minute to Interstate 84 and a 10-minute uber from Metro North's Hudson Line.
The private second floor of thehome has been completely renovated to feature three beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with a charmingsitting area. The luxurious bedrooms and bathroom are finished with the finest bedding and towels from Red Land Cotton. The full-size bathroom is stocked with the highest quality, shampoo/conditioner, and body wash to complement the plush ambiance. Private, secure entrance with parking on property.
