Dating back to the 1850s, The Black Horse Inn was originally built before two more additions were constructed in the early 1900s. The Inn's main house served as a hospital during local Civil War battles before assuming the role of a courthouse after the original Fauquier Courthouse burned down in 1853. Named after the Black Horse Cavalry, who fought during the Civil War, the Inn at Black Horse Manor stands as a testament to both history and hospitality.
With nine exquisite suites in the Main Inn, each guest is promised a singular experience. The rooms themselves are a reflection of elegance and comfort, meticulously designed to cater to every need and desire.
