Detached house with private garden, very panoramic view, outdoor spaces, privacy, parking space inside the property, all on the ground floor, comfortable and welcoming. 1 double bedroom and 1 bedroom with 2 beds (or 2 doubles joining the beds). Upon request, exceptionally 1 extra bed. 1 comfortable main bathroom and 1 laundry room with toilet. Comfortable living room with kitchenette in Sicilian masonry. Another external brick kitchen with barbecue. Large and comfortable outdoor shower with hot water. Inserted in a large residence immersed in the wild nature of the 'Mediterranean maquis' inside which you can walk to discover hidden and suggestive places. Rocky coast! But at 1 km you can reach 'Agnone Bagni' with its beach, free admission. Ideal home to visit eastern Sicily, rich in history and natural oases (Vendicari, Cava grande ...) but also wonderful beaches and small towns where time has stopped ... Highway Catania - Siracusa nearby (exit: Lentini).
As in all seaside resorts in August (Saturday and Sunday) "parties" are organized with music, sometimes karaoke, which could be inconvenient if you want to go to bed early. Usually all parties end at midnight. If you love music and fun it can also be a welcome diversion.
Public transport is far away, so the car is essential.
Inside the residence during the summer it is possible to buy basic necessities (fruit, vegetables, hot bread etc ...) a few km away there are several well-equipped shopping centers. In Lentini (about 10 km) there is the hospital. The entrance to the Catania Siracusa motorway is nearby.

Summary: The head-on view over the sea to Etna was for us the most special thing about this accomodation. A good base to explore all the East of Sicilly, in particular Syracuse (~40 mins), Nota (60), Catania (30) and Taormina (60). Well equiped if not modern kitchen - and outside stove, barbicue, and sink. Plenty of space for the three of us, and certainly would be for four. Limitations: Apart from a short walk down to the sea over some waste-land, one could only walk from the house around the estate on roads. Nearest shop some 20-30 minutes drive. Paulo was friendly and in general accomodating, though having to wait until 8pm to get in was not ideal. (Perhaps we could have pushed). Nevertheless, these limitations (except the last) were acknowledged on the listing, so we were not disappointed. Overall a pleasant place to stay.
