Enjoy relaxing, cooking, front-porch sitting and making memories! Just blocks from Northwood Trails Mountain Biking, Bathhouse Row, Arlington Park, newly restored Vapors Theater, coffee shops, restaurants and art galleries. 8 miles to Lake Hamilton, 20 miles to Lake Ouachita and 4 miles to Magic Springs Theme Park.

Summary: I don’t even know where to start with how great this property is! The house is incredible. It has been lovingly restored (with great attention to detail) and is FILLED with the most beautiful antique furniture you can imagine. We spent the Racing Festival of the South weekend with our two adult children and two adult grandchildren and had more than enough room for everyone! The beds were super comfortable and the location was perfect! Very close to shopping and restaurants downtown but far enough to be quiet and unhurried! The house is stocked with everything you might need (even a tray of goodies)! The hosts went above and beyond, even getting out Saturday night of our stay to unlock the door when we inadvertently locked ourselves out! There is a lovely little courtyard with grill (we didn’t use but looked great) and a wraparound front porch if you care to just sit out and enjoy the smell of lavender bushes! We have stayed in many properties both in the US and abroad, the Myrna Loy house is probably the most unique home we have ever had the pleasure of staying in! It’s worth the trip just to see the house! We sure hope to return soon!
