The Green Escape on the Devils Backbone. Beautiful and thoughtfully designed one-bedroom apartment on 10 acres in the Texas Hill Country. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a sweet family retreat, this apartment features panoramic views of the hill country and luxurious interior finishes to give help you achieve pure relaxation. Come take a soak in the two-person clawfoot tub, cook a delicious meal to eat amongst the treetops, take a hike to a private creek, enjoy a hot shower under the stars, and let your to-do list drift away. This apartment was designed with luxurious experiences in mind. We have a deep two-person soaking bathtub surrounded by plants, a plush king-size bed with high thread count linens and duvet comforter, an outdoor shower with panoramic views of the hills, a full kitchen with everything you could need to prepare meals, comfy patio furniture for stargazing, plush white towels, BlueTooth speaker, Wifi, a very comfortable sofa bed with a view of the hills, board games, puzzles, books, kids toys, and a trampoline overlooking the sunset on the horizon. This is a place you will love coming back to after a day of exploring the area or playing on the water. About The Green Escape. This green-filled apartment is the first structure in a master plan for The Green Escape. We will be adding more options in the future to enjoy the Hill Country in a modern and unique way where the richness of the area relaxes and recharges you. This apartment is adjacent to a home with permanent residents (your hosts) that will soon become the second accommodation for the Green Escape compound. Guest access The entire apartment, a trampoline, a (seasonal) garden, and our 10 wild acres are yours to roam if you're an outdoorsy type. There is a path down to a creek that flows seasonally with a gazebo for relaxing and listening to the small falls. You can even take a dip if you're inclined. Boots and pants strongly encouraged for walking the property and please stay on trails. Our property line is not fenced and the trails will ensure you stay on our land. Other things to note The apartment is on the 2nd floor with no elevator. This is the country. Please be aware that there may be a bug or two in your room on occasion and you may see animals if wandering the property. The Hill Country is home to scorpions, snakes, spiders, tarantulas, boars, deer, and other animals. We provide and recommend headlamps or flashlights if walking the property at night. It can get very dark out here as we are far from the city. Children of all ages are welcome but should be always be supervised. We cannot accommodate trailers or boats on site unless you own a strong, 4 wheel drive truck. We have a steep decline into the property that is tricky to get out of when towing. Please, let us know if you will be bringing something like this.
