Situated on the River waterfront, the award winning Goolwa Glasshouse is an architect and design lover's dream home, and has been featured in SA Life magazine. Centrally located to local cafes, restaurants and shops, a six minute drive to Goolwa Main Beach and an eight minute drive to Middleton Beach, a stay here will ensure a wonderful weekend away. The house offers spectacular views and sunrises that you will never forget. Nearly every room has views of the river, so you can watch the boats sail by or the pelicans fish for their dinner. The kitchen is well appointed with Nespresso coffee , tea, hot chocolate and pantry items. The house has wifi, a smart TV with netflix, a Bose sound system, blinds for privacy and fans in each bedroom for balmy nights. Complete with relaxing reading areas, a deck to enjoy evening drinks on and delicious breakfast provisions provided. Two queen bedrooms and two bathrooms. The space: The award winning Glasshouse was designed by acclaimed architect John Adam and was modeled on the ethos of "Less is More" taking inspiration from Japanese homes with flexible walls, transparent screens, light and angles. Two separate bedrooms and bathrooms complete with multiple living spaces to relax in, ample kitchen space for cooking, or a short stroll to the historic wharf precinct, cafes, restaurants & galleries. This dramatic rebuilding was completed 10 years ago, and retains some original features . Bring your bikes, the bike track to Victor Harbor is right out the front. If you are water inclined, bring your paddle boards or canoe, it’s 30 metres to the water's edge. Please note, unfortunately this house is not accessible by wheelchair as there is a flight of stairs to reach the first floor where the kitchen/dining/lounge room is. Bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs.
