Summary: Although this was our first visit…we felt like we were long time guests of The Gate Hotel. A day prior to our arrival, we received an email from the hotel welcoming us and asking if we had any special requests. When we arrived at the hotel… Luigi greeted us as if we were long time friends. He made sure that our rooms were ready quickly, so that we could get some sleep after our overnight flight. The next morning Luigi greeted us as soon as we stepped off the stairs, made us all delicious cappuccino then treated us to an amazing breakfast (that was included with our room). This was our first day and first visit to Switzerland…and we felt most welcome…thanks to Luigi and his staff. I highly recommend staying at The Gate.
