The famous “Gap House”; literally located at the Gap in the Dakota Wall along the scenic Highway of Legends. This iconic historic house is from the late 1800's. It was Hass Cartwright's from Bonanza house for many years. This tastefully remodeled compound is quite impressive. The main house is is cozy and quaint, perfectly situated with an incredible master suite and entertaining space, full exquisite kitchen along with two large decks overlooking the Dakota wall and Cucharas River. The main house accommodates 2 people. This incredible property is sure to please and is extremely unique and rare.
This a 5 star quality set up with beautiful views and a great porch with chairs and dining table to take in the views. It is right on the river and has high end beds with plush pillows. Allow yourself to sleep in luxury while enjoying the La Veta Cuchura area. We are located right off of the Highway of Legends Highway (Hwy 12). This is a very unique, top notch property that is very unusual to find in and area.
Wonderful deck with chairs and loungers and table to relax and enjoy the view and river. Great location, just off of Highway 12 between La Veta and Curchara. Limit of 2 people, and we do not allow pets. If you have a bigger party we also have a guest house and cabin that can be added if they are available.
