Once a log cabin built in 1941, this quaint property has been transformed over time from an artists retreat, to a vacation home right along the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail! Once inside this cozy home, you'll instantly feel all your cares wash away. The kitchen with its original wood beams welcomes you as soon as you open the door. Pour yourself a glass of Finger Lakes wine and toast to the beginning of your getaway! The living and dining area are equally as lovely with their exposed wood and cottage feel. A queen size sleeper sofa is comfortably placed in front of the decorative fireplace. Keep this space for the kids and listen to them giggle each night before they drift off to sleep. Off the living area you'll find the airy three season room. You won't want to miss a morning here sipping your coffee and watching the birds fly from tree to tree around the large yard. Down the hall from the living room you'll find both of the queen bedrooms. The master is equipped with an ensuite bathroom, with both a stand up shower and tub for your relaxation. Walk down the driveway, or drive if you'd like, and then travel the path to where 240 foot of natural lake front greets you. The Lily Pad, a screened in porch, is here to help you escape the sun if you'd like. Pack your lunch and grab a drink to put in the mini fridge kept here in the The Lily Pad." Want to venture out and experience the area? Popular award-winning wineries are abundant within a short drive, and let's not forget about the tasty micro-breweries popping up all over the Finger Lakes! Through the summer months, entertainment will be a breeze as many local wineries and breweries offer festive events including live music paired with captivating scenery. The town of Seneca Falls is within a 15 minute trip by car, where you can explore the variety of excellent dining venues, local shopping. Or, take the short drive to Ithaca where you'll find beautiful Taughannock and Buttermilk Falls and hike the day away! We use a CDC-approved commercial grade disinfectant on all hard and soft surfaces throughout each home with increased focused on high touch point areas such as light switches, doorknobs, remotes, etc. These efforts provide you the peace of mind to experience a sanitized, clean, and disinfected home to enjoy. All of our rentals include professionally cleaned linens from our laundry facility that are washed, bleached, folded and wrapped by our staff wearing PPE. We do not outsource any linens, towels, or cleaning supplies. All of our guests also have the security of a local 24/7 manager on duty to respond to their needs throughout their stay.
