Welcome to The Flamingo, one of two Noble Beach Homes at Surfside Beach, SC - The Family Beach! The Flamingo is a raised, 3 story Second Row home located on a large corner lot in the north end of Surfside Beach, SC. With 6BR and 6.5BA, it comfortably accommodates 16 guests. It’s located directly across the street from the beach access at 13th Avenue North and offers ocean views from its 3 front porches. A 4th covered porch overlooks the large (25` x 12`) salt-chlorinated pool (which is heated at no extra charge in the Spring (March-May) and Fall (September & October)). We can't wait to confirm your reservation through VRBO, however please note these requirements: *** $250 refundable security deposit required on all reservations. Due with final payment. Be sure to review the House Rules! *** Digitally signed customized rental agreement required within 48 hours of booking to confirm reservation. We will send this to you to complete after VRBO confirms your payment. The rental agreement attached to the reservation request is a sample, not the final version. *** CANCELLATION POLICY: We do allow cancellations under certain circumstances. Please scroll to the end of this description for details, as well as our Hurricane and Pandemic policies. This lovely home is 0.7 miles north of the Surfside Pier. With more than 4500SF of living area, The Flamingo offers plenty of room for your family to live during their stay yet also provides several wonderful options for smaller gatherings – whether in the main level den or the 2nd level sitting area or on one of its 4 porches (3 of which are covered!). 2021 UPGRADES: - Freshly painted interior (whole house) - New mattresses on all beds - Added a WIFI extender to improve internet accessibility throughout the house Key amenities: • Private salt-chlorinated pool with a recently resurfaced pool deck and new lounge chairs, surrounded by a gated, tall privacy fence – 25` x 12` with depths of 3-5 feet. During off-season (March- May, September & October), heated at NO ADDITIONAL COST to you! (Pool heat may be added at other times for a modest charge.) (Salt-chlorinated means no more red, burning eyes or bleached out bathing suits!) • Direct access to pool from covered back porch and beach access directly across the street from The Flamingo. • Six (6) spacious bedrooms were redecorated in 2019. All with private baths (shower/tub combos), large closets, quality mattresses and bed coverings, flat screen cable TV's, ceiling fans and plenty of drawer space • Three floors, 4500SF with open floor plan. Master bedrooms located on main level and 3rd level; decks on all levels offer ocean views as well as of Surfside Beach and surrounding community • Huge kitchen with granite countertops, high-end appliances; full complement of large and small appliances, dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans, utensils plus a Keurig coffeemaker • Separate dining room and breakfast nook • Second level sitting area features flat screen cable TV, access to covered deck and wetbar & mini-refrigerator • Separate laundry room with full-sized HE washer and dryer • Free WIFI + local and long distance phone calls (within US & Canada) • 4 decks loaded with rocking chairs and ocean (front decks) or pool (back deck) views • Charcoal grill, outdoor dining area • Exterior shower to rinse off sand and sunscreen before entering pool or house • 2 parking bays: 4 covered spots; adequate parking for at least 6 vehicles Bedroom configuration (all with private baths, cable TV, ceiling fans, lots of storage options): BR1 - Master BR on main level with 1K, full bath (shower/tub combo) BR2 – 2Q on 2nd level BR3 – 1K on 2nd level BR4 – 1K on 2nd level BR5 – 2Q on 3rd level BR6 – Master BR on 3rd level with 1K, extra large bath featuring walk-in shower and Jacuzzi tub We provide pillows, mattress pads, blankets and comforters/bedspreads. We can also provide a linens package (sheets & towels) for a modest additional fee. Please note: Surfside Beach is a family-oriented beach. You must be 25 years old to rent our home. We do not rent to unchaperoned groups of high school or college students. The guest who signs the rental agreement MUST stay at the home during the term of the lease. We only rent on a weekly, Saturday-Saturday basis. No partial weeks, no discounts for shortened stays. NO HOUSE PARTIES, NO PETS, NO SMOKING. +++ CANCELLATION POLICY: The following cancellation policy will apply to confirmed reservations: • Cancellations requested more than more than 30 days prior to your arrival date: If you have made your initial rental payment, we will refund all prepaid monies (net of any credit card processing fees) less a $250.00 cancellation fee. You will forfeit any paid non-refundable deposits if you have not made a rental payment. • Cancellations which are made 30 days or less from your arrival date: You will forfeit all advance rents paid, unless the property rebooks for your same dates and rates, in which case your prepaid monies (net of any credit card processing fees) will be refunded less a $500.00 cancellation fee. If you have paid the refundable security deposit, it will be refunded. • No refunds are given for guest-initiated shortened stays. • If your reservation came through an online listing or booking site, you may have been charged a guest service/traveler fee and/or paid taxes through master agreements those sites have with state and local taxing authorities. These fees and taxes are not paid to us, the Owners, nor are they invoiced from us and thus they are outside the scope of this rental agreement. Those fees and taxes are specifically excluded from our refund policy and are strictly between you and the listing/booking site. • If you purchased the linens package, we will ask the vendor to refund your payment but cannot guarantee such a refund will be provided as that is subject to their cancellation policy. +++HURRICANE POLICY: If Surfside Beach has been placed within the National Weather Service’s hurricane watch area and you wish to cancel your reservation specifically due to that hurricane (but not a lesser impacting tropical storm) prior to an official mandatory evacuation order or during a voluntary evacuation order, you may do so provided you make your request at least 36 hours prior to your arrival. We will refund 50% of your prepaid monies and subject to the items noted below: • There is no refund for cancellation requests within 36 hours of your arrival date PANDEMIC POLICY: The Coronavirus pandemic is now a known risk when travelling and we do not offer refunds or changes in dates of stay because of concerns related it. However, if the State of South Carolina or the Town of Surfside Beach issues an order which prohibits us from offering our home for rent during your dates of stay or bans you from travelling into this state, we will cancel your reservation and refund 100% of the Total Rental Rate plus the Refundable Damage Deposit. If such an order is issued during your stay, the refund given will be prorated based upon how many days the home was occupied.
