Located on beautiful Lake Providence, this 4 bedroom house provides the comfort and amenities to enjoy your vacation in a relaxing place. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a peaceful place to get some rest, or an outdoorsy location for a family with children, The Fish Camp fits the bill! Great fishing from the dock (Note: a NEW dock was built in 2019!), or use our kayak, or bring your own boat. This perfect water-ski/wakeboard lake is 6 miles long and never too crowded. Our dock has a swim platform and ladder at the end, and we have some water toys and life jackets as well.
In 2021 we added a second kayak and paddle board, so your whole family can get out on the lake! We also have some fishing rods available for you to use.
One of the great benefits of this home is plenty of room and beds for a large group. The four bedrooms are all upstairs. There is one bedroom with a queen bed, one bedroom with a double bed, and two bedrooms with two sets of bunk beds in each of them. So right there you've got beds for 12 people with two potential "private" rooms for couples. All bedding is provided in the rooms. We also have a pack-n-play crib.
On the main level there is also a futon style sofa bed, for additional sleeping options (bring your own bedding if using the sofa bed), but we do not allow more than 12 guests.
We now have fast internet too! (you can ignore any older comments about slow internet speed or poor dock conditions, as those have been fixed)
This is a peaceful, comfortable place to enjoy your time away.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PARTIES AND GATHERINGS: We do not allow ANY parties or gatherings. Unfortunately we had some guests abuse this policy in the past, so we now do not allow ANY additional guests to be on the property unless they are listed on your reservation. In other words, you may not have any local friends or family over unless they are listed on your reservation within the 12 person limit of the reservation. If we find out that a party occurred we will ban the renter from future rentals, and we WILL charge the renter any extra fees for cleaning and damages. If you have any questions about whether your intended plans are OK, just ask, we are always happy to answer questions! This VRBO listing is intended for use as a vacation rental and NOT for use by local residents for gatherings. We will cancel reservations made by local residents unless they have been approved in advance.
