Positive: the location on "K-eye" was good for accessibility by vehicle or bicycle though there are few services in baudin beach. the owner/hostess was exceptionally friendly and offered good suggestions for where to go on KI. location also very quiet; almost no highway noise.
Negative: this is not a 'dislike' but visitors should know there is ocean/waterfront close by where swimming is possible but there is not much of a sandy beach. (beaches a few kilometres away including "Island Beach" are broad and lovely, with the warmest water we found in southern Oz). there is also extreme dryness - a drought - underway that encourages everyone including visitors to be mindful.
Summary: a good location to visit a wonderful island with lots to see for those with wheels and time.
