Welcome to this 1900's Farmhouse loaded with character and charm in an unbeatable location, centrally located between Charlottesville (8 miles away) and Crozet (4 miles away). There's nothing like this adorable 2 story home that will feel like you are stepping into a storybook setting. 15 minutes to Brewery Trail (Route 151) with access to a dozen breweries, vineyards and distilleries. 15 minutes to Shenandoah National Park & Skyline Drive along with Downtown C'ville.
The owners live on the adjacent property a couple acres away. They own and operate The Barnswallow Artisan Gallery that is close by.
The entire house is located on about a 2 acre property complete with a small pond.
All of the rooms are large and spacious throughout with natural light streaming in. This home offers one level living with a bedroom on the main level (Queen). There is a full bathroom located off of the kitchen on the main level as well. Fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, gas stove, farmhouse sink, microwave and large refrigerator. The family room has a designated work space at the table or use the desk on the upstairs landing.
Upstairs there is a spacious full bathroom with shower and two additional bedrooms. Bedroom 2 has a Queen & Twin size bed with two closets. Bedroom 3 has a Queen size bed with two closets. There are five mini split units for heating and cooling the house that can all be individually adjusted for temperature to your comfort level.
Explore the outdoors around the pond, stroll to the Barnswallow Artisan gallery when it is open or just enjoy morning coffee on the large open deck.
The train tracks do run by the property. Please do not reserve a stay here if you are sensitive to a train coming by a couple of times throughout the day.
