Summary: I wish I could say my stay was amazing, however, it just wasn’t. It was very sad to find out, after checking in, that the heated pool luxury that the listing describes, and what attracted me to booking this house in the first place, simply didn’t work and wasn’t even operable the entire stay. When I messaged the host/property manager about the pool after checking in they responded with telling me that it was in their listing description that the pool was inoperable. However, this was untrue since I sent screen shots of the initial listing and description to the property manager proving the opposite. Come to find out the listing was altered AFTER we checked into the property. This gave me an unsettling feeling knowing I was being lied to. The host sent me a small partial refund and said they didn’t think anyone would want to use a heated pool in February? Which I found surprising because I would think that’s the perfect time to use a heated pool. Why use a heated pool in the summer? I was satisfied with everything else but it turned me off when I found out I was being lied to about the heated pool not working after checking in. We all packed swimming clothes thinking we were going to use the heated pool or hot tub that’s connected and we were all disappointed to find out the pool was completely not operational at all. This forced us to change all our initial plans.
