Come experience THE EMBASEA on beautiful East Beach, St. Simons Island, GA. Walk out the front door and directly onto the 11th St beach path. Bring your family or friends and relax at the Embasea; you will want to make it your vacation spot year after year. The Embasea welcomes you with gorgeous live oaks and gas lanterns. The tabby construction invokes a historic beach house but with all modern amenities. An elevator makes moving in a snap. The corner beach lot allows for front and side parking. There is a huge three car garage with ample room for all of your bikes and beach toys or it can be used as an indoor skating rink or bike track for the kids on a rainy day. On the back side of the house, there is a private pool and deck area for you and your guests to enjoy when you need a break from the beach. Inside, you will first notice the beautiful 300 year old heart pine floors. The main living area includes a family room with a large interet - enabled TV, game table, piano, fireplace. The dining area has an oversized farm table with seating for 10 comfortably as well as additional stools at the granite top breakfast bar. The open floor plan promotes a totally relaxed atmosphere to enjoy with your family/friends. The kitchen is a chef's dream with everything needed to serve a crowd. From this main living area there are French doors which open up to a large screen porch with outdoor living and dining areas. Finally, there is a powder room and a laundry room with storage and an extra refrigerator. This main level has a bedroom with a queen size bed, large walk-in closet and full private bath. This room is perfect for those guests that don't want to stay on the upper bedroom level. Also on the main level is a large study with a large sofa (and 2 available trundle beds) can serve as an extra (6th) bedroom. It is great place for kids to watch their favorite shows on the internet enabled TV or you can use the desk to catch up on your work. High speed internet wifi coverage is provided throughout the house for browsing, email, videos, etc. The third floor has four bedrooms each with its own private full bath. All four upstairs bedrooms have king size beds. Every room in The EmbaSea has plenty of closet space and its own TV. There is also a second laundry on this floor. The master suite features a huge walk-in closet large enough for a crib or pack & play and a gorgeous bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, his and her vanity and large double headed shower with seamless glass walls. The master and one other bedroom on this level have French doors that open up to a private deck with access to the widow's walk on the roof and the pool below. The 16'x40' widow's walk on the roof of the home boasts an amazing view up and down the beach. It is a great place to sunbathe or enjoy a cocktail at sunset as you listen to the ocean. The pool area is very private with tropical landscaping. The pool includes a shelf for kids to play on or adult lounging. There is an outdoor hot/cold shower and a half bath in the garage. As you leave The EmbaSea, you are only steps from the white sand beaches of St. Simons Island or a short ride to a myriad of restaurants, bars, shopping or family activities. Keywords: House
