Set in an elevated position enjoying views over Oban and towards the Isle of Mull and beyond, The Drury offers stunning accommodation for up to 22 guests. The house is ideal for large family gatherings, special occasions and also small wedding ceremonies and receptions up to 35 guests. The majority of the rooms enjoy stunning sea views and 3 of the bedrooms also have views towards McCaigs Folly. The house is extremely light and many original features have been restored, many rooms have working shutters, original cornicing and fireplaces. The accommodation comprises: – Ground Floor: Large entrance hall with oak flooring and grand staircase. The cupola allows natural light throughout the first floor landing to the ground floor. The Formal sitting room has 3 large sofas, working fireplace, large TV, DVD player and freeview. The cinema room also has a large u-shaped sofa, 85 inch TV, DVD Player and full Sky Sports package. There is a door from this room leading out to the seating area at the side of the house. Dining Room. There are 2 tables, which can be placed together to form one large square table if preferred. The tables can seat 20 comfortably with a maximum of 24. There is also an IPod dock and 2 cupboards with a stock of books and DVDs. There is a butlers' pantry linking the dining room with the kitchen with a wine fridge. Kitchen – this can be accessed via the main hallway or the butlers' pantry. The kitchen has a large ceramic hob, double oven, built in microwave, dishwasher and double sinks. The laundry room is located just off the kitchen and has a washer / dryer, large fridge / freezer, 2 kettles and toasters, cafetieres, a blender and a second dishwasher. A ground floor bedroom is located off the kitchen with a 5ft double bed and 42 inch TV. There is also a cloakroom on the ground floor. First Floor: There are 4 en-suite rooms: Double bedroom with 6ft king size bed, marble fireplace, dressing room and en-suite shower room with large walk in shower wash hand basin and w.c. Double bedroom with 4ft 6-inch double bed and en-suite shower room also with large walk in shower, wash hand basin and w.c. Double bedroom with 5ft double bed, walk in wardrobe and en-suite with large walk in shower, freestanding bath, wash hand basin and w.c. Double bedroom with 5ft double bed and en-suite shower room with walk in shower, wash hand basin and w.c. There are 3 further bedrooms all with 6ft double beds. There is a house bathroom and cloakroom on the mezzanine landing. The bathroom has a bath and overhead shower and sink and cloakroom opposite. All bathrooms on the first floor have under floor heating. Second Floor: 1 Twin room 2 Zip and link bedrooms. 2 wet rooms with large shower, wash hand basin and w.c. Bed linen is from The White Company, towels from King of Cotton and luxury toiletries from Ila Spa. Outside: – There are 2 main seating areas either side of the house, at one side there is a large sofa and chairs and hot tub and the other side a table and chairs and a fire pit, which has a large grate so it can also be used as a very large BBQ. There is car parking for 5-6 cars. A pathway and gate at the end of the garden provide a quicker short cut into the town. The driveway is gated, so the garden is secure for both children and pets. The Shed houses the games room, which has sofas and a pool table that also has removable tabletops that can be added to provide a roulette and pontoon table. 3 Pets welcome.
