Summary: I loved the Dorset Hotel, it had everything you could want, a great food and drink menu (I can highly recommend their whisky selection!) immaculate clean bedrooms, smoking hot water and friendly knowledgeable staff. I was immediately made to feel welcome, and, as a solo traveller, to feel like one of the gang. Being in Derby it’s in a perfect location to access all manner of interests and activities both on the doorstep and further afield. Would have loved to have extended my stay here were it not for having to move on up country.
