THE DREAMING DOME Seen on HGTV or The Hobbit Home Dome. The Dome House in Taos is a hand crafted work of art created by a local artist. The interior attention to detail is simply breathtaking! This home was designed by production designers of Harry Potter. It took 5 years and 50 people to build it It was inspired by Lord Of the Rings, Harry Potter, Dr Seuss, and Gaudy. Parade magazine and HGTV said it was the most beautiful, unique house in America. Also it is 10 minutes from the Taos Airport. Direct flight from LA, San Diego, Dallas and Austin.
The Space:
This beautiful fantasy inspired home features hand crafted diamond plaster walls, real wood vigas, and hand crafted doors. You and your guests can catch up with one another seated in the sunken seating area in front of the fire place Or perhaps you and your significant other would enjoy splashing in the hot tub on the deck off the Primary bedroom. Each bedroom has a dedicated bathroom allowing up to 6 guests to comfortably share this home while visiting Taos. Nearby hiking trails, road riding, gravel riding and the Taos Ski Valley provide plenty of recreation throughout your stay. The Taos private Airport is just a few miles down the road making this home a great choice for those visiting Taos utilizing private aviation.
Guest Access:
Check In is 4 pm if someone is departing the morning of your arrival, otherwise 12 pm.

Our cleaning crew will supply you with extra towels, kitchen supplies, trash bags, etc. Let us know if you need anything else to make your stay more comfortable upon check in:

Maximum 6 overnight guests and no more than 10 at property at any time
No Kids under 12 and please supervise your kids since there is a Koi Fish pond and some areas without balconies.
No Smoking tobacco or cannabis inside the house
No parties, or additional guests without prior approval

Television: We have a smart TV so you can access your streaming services on the large TV in the main room. The other TV’s only work with DVD’s.
Jacuzzi: Enjoy the Jacuzzi for two off the deck of the master bedroom. Be sure to close the top tightly to keep the heat in after use.
Showers: Best two showers are downstairs for water pressure. The one upstairs we use to fill the jacuzzi.
Private Areas: Please note there are private owner access only areas in the Home. Please be respectful of these areas and do not enter.
Water: You are in the high desert, please, be mindful and be conservative with water use. Yes, our water is good to drink. Please turn off lights, fans and any appliances when they aren't in use and be mindful not to run multiple appliances at once.
Trash: Please bag and take your trash out everyday or you will attract critters. Dispose of your Trash in the big Green Bin. We have trash service every week on Mondays. If you are staying Sunday night please be sure to fill the green can at the end of the driveway.
Gates: Please close and secure gates when you come and go to keep the property private.
Toilets: The Toilets are on a VERY sensitive septic system so please use a minimum amount of toilet paper and nothing else, plus hold the handle down a little longer to flush.
Casitas: We own a few Casitas at the end of the property, they are closed late Sept thru April of each year.
Check out notes: Please do your dishes, clean out your fridge, put your used sheets and towels on the floor and empty your trash in the green container! Trash days are Monday!
Retreats, Celebrations or Weddings: Feel free to ask us about hosting special events. There are additional charges for events at the Dome House.
Dogs : One small trained dog 30 lbs or less ok, however extra fee for dog plus cleaning fee charged for any damages such as not cleaning after dog, or damaged property
